Vera Fedoroff, Esquire is an attorney certified in consumer bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification, with law offices located in Howell, New Jersey. She is a Partner and bankruptcy attorney at the Fedoroff Firm, LLC.
Ms. Fedoroff practices primarily in the area of bankruptcy law, representing debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in matters involving Chapters 7, 11 and 13. She represents both individual and business clients in matters before the United States Bankruptcy Court, in the Trenton and Newark vicinages. In addition, she also represents individuals in loan modifications and workouts with banks and handles real estate transactions and minor probate/estate matters.
Prior to forming her own firm, Ms. Fedoroff was a partner with Atkinson & DeBartolo, P.C., a law firm in Red Bank, New Jersey. Ms. Fedoroff practiced bankruptcy, real estate and probate law. She was an attorney with Atkinson & DeBartolo, P.C. for over 18 years.
In the years 1996 – 1997, Ms. Fedoroff had the honor of serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, Jr., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity and Family Part.
In 1991, Ms. Fedoroff received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Chicago, where she graduated Cum Laude. She received her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington, University Law School in 1996, where she had been chosen as a Dean’s Fellow.
Ms. Fedoroff was admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1996, and was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1997. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute; American Bar Association, General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division; the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bankruptcy Law Section and Women in the Profession Section; the New York State Bar Association; and the Monmouth County Bar Association. She is also fluent in the Russian language.
